Urban Decay Naked 3: Swatches & Review

I've wanted the Naked 3 for sooo long now, so I decided to go for it and get it for myself! I'm really into muted pink tones and rose golds lately so I think it's safe to say this palette is right down my alley! :-)

This is the box the palette comes in, it's just your standard cardboard box, but how pretty!!

This palette contains 12 pink/rose toned shades as well as a double ended eyeshadow brush and 4 sample packets of the Urban Decay eyeshadow primers that according to the box will last up to a week each ;-)

The Packaging
The palette itself is made from a tin material and feels quite sturdy. The wavy design on the front and the rose gold colour are super gorge!

The Brush
The double ended brush has one fluffy end for crease work and blending, and a smaller flat end for detailed work or packing colour onto the lid. The brush hairs are super soft too :-)

The Shadows
Here is an overview of the 12 shadows. I will mention each colour below with swatches and a brief description :-)

Strange is a slightly shimmery white colour with a tiny hint of pink in it. It makes a lovely highlight shade for inner corners and brow bones :-)

Dust is a very shimmery baby pink that actually has chunks of glitter in it that can tend to fall out onto the face if you don't pack it onto the lid with the flat end of the brush :-) It also has a really pretty metallic reflect to it.

Burnout is a slightly darker shimmer shadow. It's so smooth to apply, no glitter chunks in this one ;-)

Limit is a pale rosey pink matte shade. It's so smooth and pigmented, it's definitely on of my faves.

Buzz is a smooth shimmery purpley pink that has a slight lilac reflect to it.

Trick is a metallic gold shade with a slight pink twinge. It was so hard to swatch on my arm and it looks pretty meh here, but when I used a brush to apply it to my lid the shadow really popped and showed its true metallic golden colour :-)

Nooner is a completely matte taupe shade. It's a really good crease shade to have and it blends like a dream!

Liar is a purple-taupe shimmer shade that looks way better swatched than in the palette!! This is another one of my faves for sure ;-)

Factory is a deep purple shimmer with pink reflects to it. Very pretty on the outer V of the eye ;-)

Mugshot is more of a grey taupe colour with silver shimmer. Another colour that looks much better swatched than in the palette!

Darkside is almost like a dark purpley black shimmer. It can be layered to make it even darker but this is just a one layered swatch :-)

Blackheart, the final shade, is a black with pinky purple glitter reflects in it that are only really visible when the light hits them. For a black, it's very easy to blend so no complaints here :-)

Overall I absolutely LOVE this palette and have so many eye looks planned for it already! ;-) I definitely recommend it to anyone looking to purchase it as it is well worth the money!

Hope you guys enjoyed these swatches and review and I hope you found it somewhat helpful :-) Feel free to leave a comment below telling me what your favourite colours in the palette are :-)

Love & Hugs, Lora xo
