Kylie Jenner Lip Colours - Mostly Drugstore

So like most people I am way into the Kylie Jenner lip colour this year so I decided to show you guys my little collection of nude and mauvey brown lipsticks that I have collected over the year that won't break the bank :-)

I have 5 colours to show you, they vary in shade and finish so I will show you swatches and tell you a little bit about each of them ;-)

1⃣ The first one is my personal go to, it's a grey based mauve lipstick with a satin finish, not too matte and not too shiny!

It's from the brand Essence and is in the shade 03 Come Naturally. It's from their long lasting nude collection and yes, I find this last a good few hours on my lips :-) I got this is Penneys for €2.49!! :-)

2⃣ The second is a lip liner also by the brand Essence. This is a great cheap dupe for that Kylie colour and can be worn all over the lip as it is so moisturising! I also use this to line my lips in preparation for the first colour I mentioned :-)

It is in the shade 06 Satin Mauve and I also got this in Penneys for €1.79 (not too sure on this, so don't quote me! But it is VERY cheap!!) This is a really good dupe for the Mac lip liner in Whirl also guys and that's supposedly one of Kylie's go to shades ;-)

3⃣ The third one I have to show you is actually something I have reviewed on my blog before; it's the Me Now Matte Liquid Lipstick and you can read my review for it  a couple of posts back :-)

This is super long lasting on the lips and has that matte kylie-ness to it ;-) I purchased this on EBay for €2!!

4⃣ This is the only high end lippy I have to show you guys, it's by Anastasia Beverly Hills and it's in the shade Pure Hollywood. This is more of a pink toned nude and is better suited to some skin tones but it's also great if your not too fond of the darker mauve tones!

This is $20 on the Anastasia Beverly Hills website. I also have a review on this product that you can read if you want to ;-)

5⃣ The final lipstick I have is by the brand Natural Collection and is suuuuper cheap! It's on the darker brown side but it has a sheer finish to it so again it's perfect for anyone who wants to give the Kylie lip a go but isn't too fond of the intensity of the deep colours :-)
It's from their Sheer Natural Lipstick collection in the shade Fig Leaf.

It's a very miosturising lipstick with a shine finish to it and just gives that subtle nude brown tone to the lip without being over the top. I got this in Boots at the Natural Collection stand for €2.79 :-)

Here are all the colours swatched on my arm...

Have you found your perfect Kylie Jenner lip colour? Let me know in the comments below, I'm always on the hunt for more mauve brown colours that don't break the bank ;-)

Also, sorry for the lack of posts lately, I use my phone to take the pictures for my blog posts and my camera has been acting up lately!! So all these pics were taken with my front camera and the quality is meh! Hopefully it will sort itself out soon though and I'll be back on track with my posts :-)

Hope you guys enjoyed this post anyways, let me know if you have tried any of these lippies and what you think of them! :-)

Urban Decay Naked 3: Swatches & Review

I've wanted the Naked 3 for sooo long now, so I decided to go for it and get it for myself! I'm really into muted pink tones and rose golds lately so I think it's safe to say this palette is right down my alley! :-)

This is the box the palette comes in, it's just your standard cardboard box, but how pretty!!

This palette contains 12 pink/rose toned shades as well as a double ended eyeshadow brush and 4 sample packets of the Urban Decay eyeshadow primers that according to the box will last up to a week each ;-)

The Packaging
The palette itself is made from a tin material and feels quite sturdy. The wavy design on the front and the rose gold colour are super gorge!

The Brush
The double ended brush has one fluffy end for crease work and blending, and a smaller flat end for detailed work or packing colour onto the lid. The brush hairs are super soft too :-)

The Shadows
Here is an overview of the 12 shadows. I will mention each colour below with swatches and a brief description :-)

Strange is a slightly shimmery white colour with a tiny hint of pink in it. It makes a lovely highlight shade for inner corners and brow bones :-)

Dust is a very shimmery baby pink that actually has chunks of glitter in it that can tend to fall out onto the face if you don't pack it onto the lid with the flat end of the brush :-) It also has a really pretty metallic reflect to it.

Burnout is a slightly darker shimmer shadow. It's so smooth to apply, no glitter chunks in this one ;-)

Limit is a pale rosey pink matte shade. It's so smooth and pigmented, it's definitely on of my faves.

Buzz is a smooth shimmery purpley pink that has a slight lilac reflect to it.

Trick is a metallic gold shade with a slight pink twinge. It was so hard to swatch on my arm and it looks pretty meh here, but when I used a brush to apply it to my lid the shadow really popped and showed its true metallic golden colour :-)

Nooner is a completely matte taupe shade. It's a really good crease shade to have and it blends like a dream!

Liar is a purple-taupe shimmer shade that looks way better swatched than in the palette!! This is another one of my faves for sure ;-)

Factory is a deep purple shimmer with pink reflects to it. Very pretty on the outer V of the eye ;-)

Mugshot is more of a grey taupe colour with silver shimmer. Another colour that looks much better swatched than in the palette!

Darkside is almost like a dark purpley black shimmer. It can be layered to make it even darker but this is just a one layered swatch :-)

Blackheart, the final shade, is a black with pinky purple glitter reflects in it that are only really visible when the light hits them. For a black, it's very easy to blend so no complaints here :-)

Overall I absolutely LOVE this palette and have so many eye looks planned for it already! ;-) I definitely recommend it to anyone looking to purchase it as it is well worth the money!

Hope you guys enjoyed these swatches and review and I hope you found it somewhat helpful :-) Feel free to leave a comment below telling me what your favourite colours in the palette are :-)
